Take 2 cause insta caps videos at 1m... anyways, Isaac told me to learn some of XXXTENTACION’s songs on piano a while back. So I did. Without having heard most of the songs that I was playing beforehand :P (moonlight is a hard one to get right on piano, so I just messed around until I figured out something that sounded relatively close). Songs in order - SAD!, the remedy for a broken heart, Moonlight (I also know Changes but that one’s boring to play. I guess remedy for a broken heart is boring to play as well. Oh well. Time to play more happy music rather than this depressing stuff (that somehow has a good beat). #piano #xxxtentacion

Having a good track season so far! 2 meets left, and I’m still getting faster and more bouncy :P Had a good high jump session today and cleared a new (unofficial though) PR at 5’4”. Still trying to get back my form from Nashville a couple years back with @axisathletics and @shawnerallen - it’s not there yet, but hopefully I can improve before the end of the season. First video is at 5’3” (Ties PR), second is at 5’4” (New PR), third is at 5’1” from the last meet I jumped in (kept jumping super far away from the bar and had something weird going with my arms), fourth is my start in the 4x100 from a few meets back (we’re less than 9/10ths of a second off the school record), and fifth is a shot of my 400m from the same meet at Berthoud HS. Two meets left, so two more chances for new PR’s! #highjump #trackandfield #running

Had a good first experience at Rev Tour today. Qualified for heat racing, but unfortunately took 4th in my first heat. It was good to get a taste of some higher level competition, and I think this will set me up nicely for next year. Forgot to post this yesterday, but I took home the 🥇at the USASA Keystone Slopestyle, which was my first USASA gold medal! No video of my run, but I had a great time, even though it was snowing like crazy the whole time, which forced me to change up my run a bit to switch back 180, backflip, front 180. After two days of failing to make the podium, I pulled out a silver medal on the last day of SBX competition here at Copper! Super stoked on my finish, and I can’t wait for the next comp! Put down my run yesterday at the @usasa_rms Slopestyle (backflip, back 3, front 3) and ended up taking my first Rocky Mountain Series podium finish with a bronze medal, which was crazy (even though there were only 7 people in my age class), cause I’ve never expected to podium at a Slopestyle event! Thanks @teamsummitsnowboarding for all the training this early season! It seems to have paid off!
