Trip post #48: Last (notable) National Park

Written August 1st, but saved as a draft because we’re really close to Texas and we didn’t want you to know we’re coming back.

Location: Rocky Mountain National Park

Geocaches: 303

We were in Rocky Mountain National Park and we’ve seen a lot today. It’s pretty cold, and we were at 12,005 ft above sea level. This is a national park with its own Junior Ranger building!

I got my National Park Tokens, and a Junior Ranger badge, and we hiked 1.1 miles to a lake, where we saw a lot of elk. We took a picture at the last amazing view on our trip, and it was kinda sad. So now we’re driving to our hotel, and tomorrow we’re going to Oklahoma.
