3 Weeks of School Update

After 3 and a half weeks of school, thinking up creative things to write about has become harder and harder, mostly because 1, I have no time to do anything other than eat, sleep, work, and play soccer, and 2, because the lack of sleep is starting to kick in.

School’s going pretty good, and I think I’m doing well. I haven’t been given a grade in every single one of my classes (All of my classes have been graded minus Spanish and Online Health), but looking at the other grades I have received so far, I have a GPA of around 3.4, which I hope to increase to around a 3.75 or above. Geometry is easy, it just feels like busywork, World Lit is pretty fun, except I have to pay attention to every single detail in my formatting while writing, Spanish is the easiest class I’ve ever taken (That’s why it’s Spanish I 😛 I should really see if I can get transferred to possibly Spanish II), AP Computer Science is extremely fun but will probably increase in difficulty in the near future (it’ll still be fun 🙂 ), Biology is pretty difficult, and I’ll have to increase my memorization skills if I want to get a better grade (I currently have a 3 out of 4), and my Reach classes (extra classes that are (I think) optional because I have academic athlete (where I get out early in the winter for snowboarding) are SUPER FUN, and I’m taking Election Mania (talking about, well, how the election works), and Blue VS Gray (a fun civil war class).

Soccer’s been pretty… okay… But we’ll see how the rest of the season plays out. Our last game was at Battle Mountain High School, the place where I’ve competed in track at for the past two years, including one meet where I broke the sprint medley relay school record with my team in 7th grade. We unfortunately lost 0-2, and I literally only played for 15 minutes out of an 80-minute game. Playing time for me seems to be an ever decreasing number…

But anyways…. What else to talk about? Oh! My birthday is in less than a month! This one’s special because…. Oh wait, it’s not 😛 Next year will be, however… (16). Well, one thing I know I’ll be doing is getting my learners permit, probably in Texas, because I’d rather have a permit from Texas than Colorado (and there’s different requirements). I still have to decide what I’m going to actually do, since I’ve been focused on Isaac’s birthday, because this year is going to be a big one for him! I’ve been preparing an extremely unique present for him, and I can’t wait to show it to him.

The iPhone 7 was announced last week, and (somewhat coincidentally), while the announcement keynote happened while I was in school, it happened to occur at the exact time I had free periods, and I got to watch the live stream during the whole keynote. Although I love Apple more than any other brand ever, I can’t say that the iPhone 7 is as big an update as the past few years… And even if I could, I doubt I’d get it. Probably next year, when the 7S comes out.

I probably should get back to school, as I’m literally sitting in class right now 😛 I’ll continue to write here (hopefully), and I hope to write another post in the near future.
