Summer!

It’s officially summer for us in Colorado! We have a lot planned, and it all starts next week when I leave to Texas while Jadyn and Isaac are at Mt. Hood in Oregon and Mom and Dad are in Hawaii for their anniversary. I somehow managed to finish with all 4s and 5s for the semester, resulting in a 4.33 weighted and 4.0 unweighted GPA for the semester, which definitely helped my failure of a 4.0 weighted/3.67 unweighted GPA from last semester. AP World History was a challenging experience, but I’m glad I went through with it. I’ll be getting my test scores back in July, so I’ll hopefully be receiving college credit for that. All my other exams went really well, and I didn’t study for any of them minus math, which I really had to work at this semester, and chemistry, which I studied for approximately 33 seconds in rigorous preparation.

I’ve had a lot of time to relax, in preparation for a whirlwind few weeks coming up. We just got back from Denver yesterday, where Isaac had his final lacrosse tournament with the Summit Stix, before he goes off to high school next year. I had a fun time cheering him on and watching him score, which he was extremely stoked about.

I have a track meet on Wednesday I’ll be going to with a couple of friends, and I’ll be running the 100m and 400m. I’ve been running very consistently, training with lots of hill workouts up near our house in Blue River at 10,000 ft, so hopefully it will pay off when I sprint at 5900 ft. I’m looking to go under 12.5 in the 100m and under 60 in the 400m (because I still haven’t done that, for some odd reason. And here I was in 8th grade believing I’d be in the 57s by sophomore year. That was a big fail).

After the track meet, I’ll be packing up for my trip to Texas, where I’ll be getting my license, then going to see our best friends the Halls for a while. After Texas, I’ll be working throughout the summer with the Rocky Mountain Youth Corps on some trails, plus some other jobs. I’ve started to buy and sell iPhones once again, so I’ve started to get some income from that.

Anyways, it’s bound to be a great summer with all this, and I’ll be sure to enjoy these next few weeks (That sentence literally means that I lost interest in continuing to write right now, so I’m going to just end it off there). Oh, I also made a new LEGO Stop Motion animation, which you can view here.
