Our trip Post 4: Location: Buck Knife Factory, Idaho

Buck Knife Factory

Today we went to the Buck knife factory in Idaho with some friends. We got to see all the machines, it was very cool. There was a room for heating and cooling, and a machine used for making the blades, we didn’t get to see the gold room used for making gold in handles, gold handles, gold knifes, etc. Our guide didn’t even know where it was located. After the tour we got to see the museum and found out that they make handles out of antlers, mother of pearl, even mammoth tusks!. We all got a little knife pin afterwords and Jadyn got a new knife. We got to hold the big sword that was used for cutting the ribbon at the grand opening! It was very fun, and there were lots of knives including old discontinued ones, dented knives, and more. We also got a knife sharpener for all our knives.
