This is a book I am reading currently. It is the book that inspired The Sound of Music. It is about a nun named Maria who goes to the Trapp family to be a governess and care for one of the children who is sick with a disease. She loves music and singing and teaches the Von Trapp children how to sing and play. In the end(in The Sound of Music) they escape from Austria filled with Nazi’s. This is actually a true story and is written by Maria Trapp.
