Really short narration for my school day today:
Galileo and his family have to move out of the city because of a plague in the city, and he goes to school at the monastery with the monks. The rest of his family goes to Vincenzio’s friends house in the mountains. Work at the monastery is strict, but fun. Galileo stays there and works for 3 years, and Is now 15. He wants to go to the university, and his father Vincenzio applies for a scholarship, but is rejected. Galileo’s mother wants him to become an apprentice, but Vincenzio tells Galileo that he could study medicine at the university and he will try and pay for the first 6 months. Galileo is excited, and can’t wait to start. I guess he just loves work!
