Our trip post 8: Location: Spokane, Washington

Today I woke up (Wow, that’s the 4365th day I’ve done that!), Facetimed friends in Austin, watched the rest of “Catch me if you can”, read Artemis Fowl, then went biking with the family. We biked to Albertsons on the way back. Isaac and Jadyn played with Justine. We’re leaving Spokane to go to Seattle(GEOCACHING HQ!), Yellowstone(Isaac is afraid of going here after watching the movie 2012, in which it explodes) and Boise, Idaho (Going to be there for my birthday).

The Story of the Von Trapp Family Singers

This is a book I am reading currently. It is the book that inspired The Sound of Music. It is about a nun named Maria who goes to the Trapp family to be a governess and care for one of the children who is sick with a disease. She loves music and singing and teaches the Von Trapp children how to sing and play. In the end(in The Sound of Music) they escape from Austria filled with Nazi’s. This is actually a true story and is written by Maria Trapp.

Here is the link to it on Amazon:

Our trip post 7: Location: Spokane, Washington

Yesterday I biked over to my friend Will’s house and we went Geocaching. We found a Multi-cache (GC1R9Z8), and 2 regular caches (GC4G6JF, GC35K6M). We also found a cool dirt track in the woods. We then went to another friends house who we met at the Spokane County Fair. I was trying to open a gate and ran into a wire and scraped my hands, legs and fell on some rocks (luckily I didn’t hit my head). After playing for a few hours with Grace and Joy (Our friends), we came home. I found out I was sick, and vomited in the night a lot. I ended up sleeping with my mom and in the morning I woke up at noon and layed down for a while. Then the rest of the family went biking with our friend Justine. I did school until they got back (a few minutes ago, but it might be more unless you’re reading this about 60 seconds after I publish this). Then I posted on my blog.

Now I don’t know what to write about anymore because I caught up to the present (9:18 PT, September 18th, 2013) which is probably(100%) in the past now. I’ll talk about a app Mr Jeff got me called 1 Second Everyday.

1 second everyday is a cool app that lets you choose 1 second of video from that day and, after you’ve recorded a lot, you can put it together and see your seconds in a video. I’ve been recording since the 14th, missing some days but overall getting a lot of seconds. After this trip is over(or September is over) I’ll put it together and post it here.

Our trip post 6: Location: Spokane, Washington

Today we woke up (duh) played on the computer, read, then played downstairs. I checked up on my Geocache, Zebra Cache, and updated it’s coordinates.

A few hours later…(nothing happens for some time)

We decided to go running at Indian Painted Rock Trail. We ran for a while, then climbed a hill and spent some family time up there, praying. We made a altar, and gathered leaves, flowers and other stuff we found and put it in a blue pot we found. We ran back and came home and ate dinner. Then I finished posting on my blog. We’re going to play some games (I should say we played some games because by the time you read this it will be after, unless you don’t read it, in which case you can ignore this, but you won’t read this or anything else so you don’t have to ignore this because you wouldn’t read it anyway and in which case I should probably stop because I am going on and on about if you didn’t read this, and this is totally pointless because you are reading this but you could not be in which case you wouldn’t be seeing this in the first place. Confused yet?)

(I am just going to go with “We played some games”)
